Oklahoma really is about the open road. Lots of flat open spaces and big barns and not much else. It got me thinking, if there's a midwest, is there a middle and a mideast? i suspect not, but i can't call oklahoma the midwest since there's nothing west about it and tennessee may not particularly enjoy being called the mideast, but what is it? if one of you were a passenger with me on this trip, this would have been one of our bits of conversation along the way. As it was, i had to come to the conclusion that it's not something i've really ever thought about but is now something i'd like to get to the bottom of...
