Today is a day my dad would be proud. I woke up at 5:45am and was on the road by 6:30am. As he is a firm believer in an early start, i tend to be a firm believer in a good night's sleep...but today is different. I have the longest day of driving ahead of me and I'm anxious to arrive at my next destination...Santa Fe, New Mexico. A place I had read about over the years but have never had the chance to visit. Arriving at this destination also denotes a break in our schedule...i'll have 2 nights there to explore, hike and relax. I can't wait...
