After about 4 hours in the car, we found our way to our second rest stop...the town of Franklin, Tennessee. After going around a rotary in the center of town and then not knowing which turn to take, i decided to just stop and walk around. After all, the shopping looked good. The town had a ton of character and i loved the restored buildings...it appeared it was also steeped in history...
